Alastair Donachie

Alastair is an epidemiologist with over 13 years’ experience in infectious disease surveillance, outbreak response, and public health preparedness. A graduate of the European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (EPIET), he has extensive experience with the World Health Organization, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, and Médecins Sans Frontières, including field missions in Africa. He is currently a Research Fellow and part of the team developing and piloting enhanced integrated acute febrile illness (AFI) surveillance in rural Fiji for the WISH Pacific project.
